Fair Trade Fortnight at FHS 27th February – 11th March 2012
Featherstone High will be celebrating Fair Trade Fortnight with a series of events, workshops and tasty treats. Have a look round this page to find out more.
Everyday throughout the two weeks, you will be able to try free Fair Trade hot chocolate at Breakfast Club.
Look out for the Year 7, 8 and 9 Assemblies where you might find some Fair Trade facts popping up!
On Tuesday 28th February at 1415 there will be a talk and workshop (and hopefully a chocolate tasting!) with Tom from Divine Chocolate. Places are limited for this event so see / email Mr Mutton to book your place!
On Thursday 1st and Thursday 8th March, Young Enterprise students will be offering a selection of Fair Trade products for sale; which group will make the most money?!
On Friday 2nd and Friday 9th March, the Catering students will be making a variety of Fair Trade cakes and yummy things for staff to buy, ably sold by some super sixth formers.
Throughout the two weeks we are going to be making a radio show talking about Fair Trade which will be broadcast on Hayes FM at the end of the fortnight. Speak to Mr Mutton for more details!
